Is mold & mildew paint safe for the walls of a new fish room

Just got done painting and was talking with a friend he said I was nuts that I shouldn’t have used that
I thought it would be fine as long as I left it air out for a few days
Who is right ? I wanted to move the pod and algae cultures in this weekend
I used zinser perma-white

once cured I wouldn't think that there would be enough VOC's left to trouble a tank, if the room is reasonably well ventilated I would think you're pretty safe.
I used an anti-mould paint on my cabinent holding my sump and can't link any problems to it.

I agree onsan, I've heard of many people using anti-mildew paint. It would be bad to use inside a tank...
