Bill Addison - Founder of C-Quest - Passes Away

If you've been into ornamental breeding of marine fish for more than 20 minutes, you probably know that Bill Addison was one of the original pioneers of marine ornamental fish breeding. Founding C-Quest hatcheries in Puerto Rico was just one of his life's accomplishments, but probably the one that most of us will remember him for. C-Quest is currently the oldest surviving hatchery in the US, and possibly the Americas.

"He went on to pursue his hobbies of old cars in Wheatland, collecting and raising tropical fruits, nuts, and spices in Roatan, Honduras and a marine fish farm in Puerto Rico. The latter has been scaled down and moved to Wheatland."

He was a great individual and a pioneer in the marine fish breeding. He will be greatly missed and I feel fortunate to have known him.
