Don't know about getting fish from Dynasty Marine, but I saw a lipogramma klayi for sale in a japanese fish store at the end of 2005. I cost something like Yen350,000. Don't ask me how much that is in AUD - once it gets to 6 digits it's too much money (unless it's rupiah ). To put it in perspective, a conspic angel costs about half that!

This guy's got one on , plus the trilineatum....

Nice fish...probably breedable too.....let me know if you find a nice "cheap" source of them

It´s a wonderful ! There were some being sold by Twighlight Aquatics a few months ago together with other interesting species.
Unfortunately their website is gone and there was no response to the e-mail I sent them...

Also known as "Dr Seuss fish"!

Apparently there have only been a few collected and this is likely the one sent to Japan. I think the others went to public aquaria etc. Cool looking fish...

To get back on topic , I am quite suprised at the size of the bicolor basslet - max size about 4 cm or something like that. That fish in his pic is just about 1 cm plus .......definately worth more than it's weight in gold!
