Well I went to the LFS yesterday because I heard a rumor that they had a pair of B/W clowns that were over 4" in size. I had the intention of buying them whether they were indeed B/W ocellaris or hopefully a rare find. Turns out they had been sold the day before :(. So I started to take a peek at what else they had in their tanks.

To my surprise :shock: I saw a Magnificent Rabbitfish that was in lovely looking condition, decent size, full bodied (not plump) and actively swimming and foraging for something to eat amongst the substrate and artificial rock (ABS pipes). The price was even decent.

So since I was planning on going home with something already, I couldn't pass on this fish. It just looks fantastic and will look great in the new display I'm putting together.

That's great...next step, you should learn how to work with acrylic yourself then you can make tons of your own tanks for a fraction of the cost. Have you started with the A. tonsa yet?

4" BW ocellaris gotta be pretty old, typically they can start spawning at 2.5" (female)
