Selling livestock in Texas - license needed?

Selling livestock in Texas - license needed?

Postby Magik » Wed Sep 15, 2010 1:41 am

Hello,

I was wondering if anybody knows what are the regulations in Texas? I am not asking about tax matters (I know how to handle these), but do I need some kind of a license to sell the animals I breed? I have troubles googling it and on another board I have read that e.g. in Florida you need some sort of wildlife dealing license...

TIA,

Magik

In Florida all you need is an Aquaculture License. Don't know about Texas.

Looks like in addition to an Aquaculture License you need an Exotic Species Permit for anything non native to Texas.
