Aquarium question

Aquarium question

Postby kidzatheart » Sat Jun 19, 2010 8:43 am

Good Morning,
I have a few 2 gallons I am wanting to clean really good because they have been sitting around outside for awhile. Does anyone know if they would be ok to run threw the dishwasher without soap? I am not sure if the hot water will melt the seals or not.
Thanks

Silicone caulk will not melt at dishwasher temperatures.
Don't count your gobies before they've metamorphasized.

Must be pretty grungy!
Actually, a good hosing outside would do most of the cleaning. A scrub brush would help.
I would be concerned with breakage in a dishwasher.
