I'm trying to find a way. My pc is down. I want others to see this amazing animal. The colors are so vivid and no one has a clue what it is. It has the eyes of a mantis but the color and body are nothing like I've seen

hard to say they are cloudy and hard to see the shrimp very well. I'll send it up the food chain and see if I can get Art to give a guess. Try and get better pictures.

I see a lot of this shrimp in Singapore. Looks like a Heterocarpus species. I lost my shrimp I.D book so I can't really pin down the species.
I love Artemac!

I thought that as well but the color is not transparent like in the Heterocarpus ,and the eyes are much larger and almost lime green on what ever is in my tank

My thoughts were a Heptacarpus at first, but its really hard to tell. They are small and can be quite colorful depending on environment. Heterocarpus is a deep sea shrimp.

Check "Crustaceans of the world" by Helmut Debelius. I believe I saw this shrimp or at least the genus somewhere in the book.
