Shrimpery / Pederson Breeding

Shrimpery / Pederson Breeding

Postby RoFlores » Tue Mar 03, 2015 10:56 pm

I am finally putting my shrimpery together. The top row of tanks are drilled and fitted in place, the water is added and I am just waiting for the salinity to settle to start the cycling process. This system will have 8 tanks in the end, 4 top and 4 bottom 10 gallon tanks, plumbed together and drained into a sump that has a skimmer and a uv filter. The system will hold Thors (sexy shrimp), Pederson cleaners and Spotted anemone shrimp. All the tanks are bare bottom and besides the shrimp the only other thing will be a few anemones (mini carpet for the Thor, Bartholomea for the Pederson and Condylactis for the Spotted) and maybe a live rock or two. On a side note, one of my Pederson released some larvae today, they look so different from the Thor that I'm used to. I snapped some pics of them. If any one has bred Ancylomenes pedersoni before please share your experiences here.
