Thanks.This time the egg ball was not deserted but remained attached "in situ"and cared by the male till the end.Which made collecting the eggs and hatched larvae much of a trouble...
Newly hatched larvae are strongly phototrophic,concentrating under the light,even if the water is very dark with algae.

I could raise about 30,now at 40 days.Nice,(though brown),strong,measuring 20mm.Not agression casualties.
And yet,some 1-3 fish die suddenly frequently,without obvious cause. :?
This seem related with losses of juvenile Pseudochromis some people find.And also to the death of damsels around meta.
In both cases,feeding on BBS seems to be part of the problem.
These dotties feed mainly in bbs.They don´t take Cyclopeeze nor crumble.But they are overpowering and eating adult bs,with some struggle.
On the other hand I am raising a new very large batch on bbs without problems.So there could be an age when a HUFA disbalance or something could show :?
