settlement que for lysmata amboinensis

Since skunk cleaner shrimp are supposed to clean fish, I have to wonder if it has occurred to any of us that the presence of fish may be the biological que for final meta and settlement. Any thoughts?

IMO,Lysmata don´t need any special cue. They will settle after they reach their last zoeal stage.
It is only a matter of keeping them alive until then 8)

I wonder if fish were present would that reduce the length of time until settlement? Just food for thought and out of the box type thinking, I know that when I was breeding berghia we could not achieve substantial numbers until we had both food and crushed coral present (aragonite)......
