I am bringing here this post of Mahir since it will be interesting to all of us
Hi Louis,
I'm a fellow reefer from Bursa Turkey. I am also into breeding aspects of the hobby, tried and successed Lysmata seticaudata once.

Now the problem is the import of any live invertebrates is forbidden almost a year now in my country leaving many hobbyists shrimp&crabless. The reason is some importers reported their goods as table prawns to avoid their taxes. These were busted and since then we do not see any crustaceans in our LFS.
This is becoming a problem since we do not have any hope because it is banned at law and equity. The prices of these animals skyrocketed and very open to smuggling in Turkey.
Since you are very experienced and well known breeder, wanted to ask if it is wasting time try breeding these creatures in a hobbyist scale. Especially Ambionensis and Seticaudata were very popular cleaner crew members in the country.
I've read your most breeding journals over the net. Is it possible to get more clues from online documents ans get info about collective breeding of these spicies?
Best regards from Turkey,
