The eggs hatched into typical peppermint zoea.Next spawn was not olive green but tan!

.and another shrimp also produced tan coloured eggs!."Tan" could also be defined as reddish brown or orange. And they look pink when seen thru the reddish carapace.
So a character I imagined so fixed and taxonomically sound like ovary and egg colour can just change in the same individual from spawn to spawn!.
In the original description of L.boggessi,Andy R."Spawner" describes the eggs as "olive green".But recently he stated (pers.com.) that they can produce "tannish color eggs".Andy said above in this thread, that he thought that my pics showed L.boggessi.
I sustained they could not be boggessi because:
A-eggs were pink, not olive green. Not a valid difference any more.
B-Telson (originally described as "dark blue to blackish") was decorated in red, blue and white (see pics). But it is mostly dark, contrasting with a light body.
C-They come from Singapore/Sri Lanka.Meaning that if they are real boggessi, they are being captive bred there.
The final word on the subject of this shrimp ID,will be given by Andy who is currently checking the DNA sequence of my shrimps.
