L. ankeri larvae won't eat

L. ankeri larvae won't eat

Postby swamp.tide » Mon Jun 19, 2017 4:17 pm

Hello Everyone,

I have just started an attempt at raising Lysmata ankeri, but I am having some problems:

It seems that my larvae are not eating - their digestive tract seems empty (a long time ago I attempted a single run at Lysmata grabhami and I remember that the larvae's digestive tract was orange, filled with brine). I have been offering newly-hatched and enriched brine shrimp nauplii.

Does anyone know what I may have been doing wrong?

Thanks,

Oi Miguel,tudo bem? :D
I have some questions first:
ID-How can you tell that your shrimp are L.ankeri and L.grabhami?
What larval system are you using?
Are you checking larval gut under a microscope?
Are the larvae dying?.At what age/stage?
