Awww. They are adorable. I would love to keep cuttlefish but the short lifespan keeps me away.

The way I look at the lifespan issue is _ That is the length of time of the commitment. Asking myself - "Should I try cuttlefish? Answer - Why not? Commitment is only a year +/-".
What should give one pause is the commitment to feeding them, which is all live food the first month or two. I am near the coast, so it is not too hard to capture my own.
This is my 2nd generation, so I'm pretty calm about what to expect.

That's a good way of looking at it. I'm sure I will have a tank for them one day.
