Here's my thought. Take daily pictures of your nests, starting with the day they are laid up until the evening before the hatch. Take the same picture at the same time each day. String them together and we know how eggs should look on each day of development. So if anyone would like to contribute, wait until you have the full series of images ready, and if you need help editting, hosting or posting them, ask me

To add to your thoughts, Matt:

I think the water temp should be quoted seeing that a few degrees in temp difference can affect incubation period.

Also maybe a good idea to have a scale of some sort, at least in one of the pics.

Try to get a whole series of daily shots like the one above if you can! When you get that, we'll rework the above to include a day-by-day progression!

i'm working on a gold stripe nest. I went out of town and the female is still laying however i believe the male is having some.. troubles

I missed day 0 when they were laid, but here are some shots of the eggs my best pair laid on a rock facing the glass at last!

I don't purposely feed them naturose, but there may be some in the frozen food they get. The broodstock are brilliantly orange, and I feed them my own blend of frozen seafood, as well as Rod's food and Ocean Nutrition Formula One frozen, frozen mysis, etc. They will eat anything, but I hand feed them every day. When I wasn't feeding them so well, sometimes the eggs were yellow. Now they lay orange ones all the time.

There are 4 times more eggs than I could capture with camera. They will hatch tonight. Since I don't plan to keep them, I may try to get pictures as they hatch!

hi i am a first time breeder of golden maroon stripe clown fish and not experienced in this matter if any one could give me advice on the best way to complete the whole process this would be very much appreciated. cheers

my first post......long time fan though!

This is what happens when a B/W & O/W occellaris pair spawn unexpectedly in a tank maintained at 74F. Total of 12 days with a split hatch between day 11 and 12. I didn't label the days but they go right to left.
