Thank's for answering ! Have you seen the "smorcularis" clownfish? This is the result of "snowcasso"and black and white ocellaris cross.Very beautiful fish, by the way.
Considering that the snowcasso is a fish selected from picasso x picasso , which contains more white on the body than a common picasso(see Doni ), and considering that platinum is a percula like snowcasso and picasso, I guess the platinum x bw ocelaris should look like the smorcularis , maybe with a little more white on the body, am I right?
I think that platinum is a picasso with far more white on the body, since both are variations of colors from percula.Correct me if I'm wrong.
Well, once you have both variations available, why don't you try putting them together? I certainly will.

Platinum is just a name for a virtually all white A. Percula.

Really? Here, in Brazil, there's a breeder selling offsprings from his pair of platinum. At least, tat's what he is saying. Very expensive, indeed.
Are they supposed to be infertile?

I'm sure they are but breeding journals or offspring pictures? Nowhere to be found
I'd love to see something about it

Some are of the opinion that it's not good to breed different species of fishes/animals together. It's a personal choice thing.

I have a platinum and a b grade picasso breeding. And i have only reared two nest with a total of 50 fish. And to my disappointment have only got one a grade picasso probable 4 b grade and 10 c/d grade the rest are normal. I did have two really young fry that looked like being platinum but died.
