OK so from the original group of 6 I now have my first pairing. I have now moved this pair to their brood stock tank and this afternoon I notice that they are doing their courtship dance. so fingers crossed that I will have my first spawn of Banggai's I have posted a pick of the happy couple ( sorry about the quality, if some one has some tips on fish photography it would be great).

After I transferred the newly formed pair the brood stock tank some thing strange happened the fish went into hiding. For the first few days I wasn't to worried about this, but it has been over a week now and the are still hiding in the corners of the tank and under the live rock. The pair are still feeding but are very skiddish and race back to the corners or rocks to hide again. This is one of my first attempts at breeding fish (I have been breeding peppermint shrimp for a couple of years) Any suggestions on what would could be the cause of this stress for the fish would be greatly appreciated.

A little about the brood stock tank it is a 3ft (120lt) aquarium with fine coral substrate a small amount of live rock and a clay pot.

cheers
Stan

Mine hide too. The only fish I have that don't run off are the clowns.
