Converting Fresh Water algae water to marine

Has anyone tried converting say , koi green algae water to marine?

Problem is , no body here is producing live nan n expensive to import

nanno, duna, tetra can be converted to fresh water and back.
if you don't know what it is, try and convert it anyways. if it doesn't work, then it's probably a freshwater species, without looking at it under a scope

you can get plates from florida aqua farms.

thanks for the reply. I'm gonna give it a try.

Freight is expensive USD50 :(

nan is nannochloropsis, tet is tetraselmis,

What's duna?

sorry to respond so late nat... dunaliella sp. i'm currently using the duna that was plate cultured from florida aqua farms.

didnt work. After adding reef water up to sg.014, it turned brown, then clear :(

So now i gotta look for other source of nanochloropsis
