Rotifers. A friend of mine used to feed his cultures with algamac only.
Maybe, something to try.
Thank's for helping!

For some reason it is used for boosting the DHA of rots and bs,a process called "enriching" and not to culture them with it.Though I don´t see why it culdn´t be done,it is worth being tried.
But calanoid copepods,which don´t need that much this supplementation are much more difficult to culture on something else than living algae.See here some projects of raising them with algae pastes.
I once tried to culture Euplotes with Algamac and it didn´t work. :?

I see! And I guess live Nano wouldn't work for calanoids either, isn't it? Including tangerines?

Thank's once more!

Best;

Really? With calanoids?
What about Euplotes? What are they used for?
Thank's!

Very interesting : raising purple firefish larvae with Euplotes!!! Do you know any other successful breeding attempt?
Have you ever raised any marine fish larvae with Euplotes?

Thank's once more!

These old threads are fascinating, targeted bio-coverage.

Also more up to date then most texts. Thanks folks for your contributions.
