Black tub?

Black tub?

Postby Frankyreef » Tue Mar 18, 2014 4:14 pm

Good evening everybody!
My breeding aquaria are currently being installed!!!
I would like to plan and organize the larvae tanks.
I will use small glass tank of 60L for clownfish but I read somewhere here that black round tub are more adapted for the others species (like seahorses, gramma, synchiropus, pseudochromis).
Any advises about connection and instllation of these tanks will be very helpfull!!!
Do you put only heater and air bubbling inside?
Or must I plan to connect all my future round black tub on a sump to have a main filtration?

Thank you per advance a lot for your help!!!
See you soon!
Franky!

Yes,you should place a central standpipe from the beginning, even if you won´t circulate water at this time. And fix your airstone to it.

Even if you don´t use open circulation, water changes will be easier with a stand pipe

Hey Luis, I'd like to see a picture of this, especially with an airstone attached. Not sure what you mean.
