Greening larvea tank

Postby Guerry » Sat Feb 09, 2013 8:09 am

Ok as tital states I 've got a slight problem and looking for sugguestons, I have a hatch due tonight and only one lilter of live phyto ready. I had ordered Rotie green nano but it got held up in transit due to weather and won't be here till Monday. I have Rotie grow and Rotie grow complete, I've never greened water with rotie grow and know the complete will add oily film any ideas

I assume you mean clowns...If so,not much of a problem.1L of phyto is enough and the larval period is so short that they can make it ok.If you are short of rots, you could start offering bbs earlier.

thanks, I guess I should have mentioned clowns. I have two cultures of rotifers going no problem there and I don't use BBS I go straight to Octhine A with good success so far I just had let the phyto cultures go because I planned on having the RGN before hatch ( I'm getting lasy I guess )
