Using hormones to induce fish breeding

Does anyone use hormones eg ovaprim to induce gamete production in fish? I understand bluefin tuna are bred using hormone filled darts fired into their side for example.

Yeah it and other hormones are pretty common in commercial marine fish production in order to trigger spawnings at know times. The advantage of this is that particularly for marine finfish is the live food cultures can be scaled up in anticipation or preparation of a spawn.
