Pairing off royal grammas

Pairing off royal grammas

Postby easy88 » Mon Apr 29, 2013 10:22 pm

I am hoping someone will be able to give me some advice.I had bought two small royal grammas and placed them in a tank together but they seemed to be constantly charging each other with open mouths. I have now seporated them. I have another two royal grammas that are a little bit bigger and they are a different size from each other. These two are in a tank together and don't seem to bother each other. My questions are: do you think my second pair is male / female combo or is it possible they are both female and my other two are both male? I'm just not sure if females can live together without fighting.

I am tinkering with these myself
I think the best bet is 2 fish of different sizes
I started with a trio and then ended up removing one of the 2 larger ones as it was hiding alot of the time from the other 2 now i have a small and big one together living together but no action yet
