New Breeder Setup in the works!!!

New Breeder Setup in the works!!!

Postby ClownMania » Mon Apr 22, 2013 3:39 pm

Soon I will be setting up a new Breeder setup to replace my current system. I've decided to go with acrylic tanks, instead of the 10G glass tanks.

Brookstock Tank: 1 x custom acrylic 4 chambers tanks. Dimension 48" x 15" x 14" 1" drain and a 3/4" return.

Growout Tank: Acrylic tank dimension 36" x 15" x 16" = 37G
Sump: Custom Acrylic Sump dimension 36" x 16" x 16"
Hatchery tank: 2 x Acrylic tank dimension (TBD) 20L?
Skimmer: BM NAC7

Currently, I'm using a Reeflo Hybrid Dart/Snapper on my existing setup. But I think I might have to go to a larger pump to since I will be plumbing additional tanks.

Stand: Undecided if I'm going to build a wood stand, or shop for a stand-alone shelving unit that can support the weight.
Lights: Currently using Compact Fluorescent lights, T5 fixture.

Would you recommend a UV?
Would you recommend LR (Rubles & Chaeto) or Bio balls?

Appreciate any recommendations!
