Sorry for my long silence...
Here a picture of a commun shelve we find in the fish shop in France.
Very easy to clean and nothing to do for 20 years (after it is better to change the glue!).
I didn't make this choice because of the price!
I will build shelve with inox.
I hope show you very soon some pictures.
I have now some questions about aquarias volume. I will open a new topic!
Have a nice day!
Franky!

Amazing! And scary :? Neverhave seen that before...
The idea about silicone glue lasting 20 yrs must be a myth.My tanks 35 yr old are still perfect.

I understand your feeling.
I was very surprise to see in a pet shop 3 tanks of 2m (600L) with this system!
The differents suppliers advise me to dont exceed 120cm.
See you!

Tell us more about this glass architecture wonder :D
Vertical or horizontal panes are one piece of glass?
Glass thickness?
Do they use reinforcement pieces?

Usually, you have a vertical piece of glass where there is sticked some reinforcement where the aquarium is standed.
I can take some pictures during my next visit in a pet shop (but I dont go very often since a long time, my aquaria are not ready and it is so difficult to see all the fishes and corals and not be able to buy anything!!!).
Have a nice day!

I´m not good with design programs and will try to put into words :?
Vertical glass panels run from the floor till the top of the upper row of tanks.Every tank floor is glued between two of these panels, with some reinforce strips. Then the front walls will define the height of each tank. And the rear wall could better be a single panel, large as the whole structure?
