Post your Broad stock tank pictures

Postby dgiglio » Fri Oct 05, 2012 10:01 am

I'd like to start a thread where EVERYONE can post a brief description on what their breeding along with a picture or two of their setups. I know for me personally I could use some inspiration/ ideas on how to set up my breeder tanks, and since I don't see any sort of build thread on here I think it would really help others get an idea of where to start.
Thanks in advance...

Since I don't currently have a broad stock tank ill post my last (and only) breeding adventure... I had a pair of banggi cardinalfish which had two clutches of babies before I lost one out of my only pair to a mysteries cause, I think it was caused my the other one trying to mate with it. Anyways here's my rearing tank

The result of this spawn was pretty grim with only about 10 out of 40 making it sellable size.
Here's a photo of one of the ones I kept for future breeding

My broodstock tanks are kind of in shambles right now; but this is the rack some of them will be going on:

It's going to hold 6 20 gallon aquariums and a 40 gallon sump.

I used 1/4 black acrylic. Cost about 40 bucks for five dividers and cut the slits myself.
